Hockey in Chicago/Hokejs Cikaga
The time has come to dig into your closets, dust off your skates and lace them up for some ice hockey!
This year's ice hockey game
will be a part of the 55th American Latvian Association's Sports
Championships in Volleyball and Basketball on Saturday, May 24th in
Chicago, Illinois (Robert Crown Ice Complex). The game is slated to
start at 5:45 pm and the current plan is to have a Latvian squad face
off against a squad of Lithuanians. No participation fee has been set
as of now, although it will probably be around $20 to cover the ice
rental and officials.
Information regarding the weekend's sports tournaments, official hotel, parties and maps can be found by logging on to www.finalspeles.com/. There are also sign up sheet for various events on the website, so please take a look at it.
